WhistlePig Whiskey and Pit Viper, the “bold outdoor sports and lifestyle eyewear brand, have collaborated on a unique summer whiskey and bespoke sunglasses. Dubbed the ‘SummerStock Whiskey,’ the spirit is a limited edition blend of Rye and Wheat Whiskey finished in a sun-toasted barrel called ‘solara.’ The method the collaborators used was a modern take on the traditional approach. WhistlePig Whiskey’s summer whiskey is accompanied by custom SummerStock 2000s sunglasses, designed by Pit Viper.
The collaboration celebrates WhistlePig’s achievement of 100% solar power at their Vermont distillery. The SummerStock Whiskey offers notes of oak, baking spice, and subtle maple. The spirit is best enjoyed on the rocks or in summer highballs.
Proceeds from this collaborative collection will be donated to Everybody Solar.
