Katie Holmes has officially switched up her signature style.
The Dawson’s Creek alum recently debuted a summer-ready hair transformation and proved that you need to make a dramatic change for it to feel fresh and new.
While attending Chanel’s Tribeca Film Festival Artists dinner on June 10, Katie showcased her rich caramel balayage highlights that were blended throughout her brunette tresses. This subtle, yet striking update created dimension and texture to the star’s look.
Katie’s head-turning makeover, which was styled in effortless beachy waves, came courtesy of colorist Gina Gilbert and hairstylist DJ Quintero.
And while the mane focus was on the 45-year-old’s new ‘do, there’s no denying she stepped out in chic style.
For the event, Katie wore a black slip dress layered underneath a matching sparkly lace overcoat that featured diamond-embellished buttons. She accessorized with black sandal heels and a coordinating quilted clutch. Of course, her entire look was Chanel.
