Rihanna learned how to tame her hair troubles.
The multi-hyphenate recently opened up about experiencing postpartum hair loss after welcoming her sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 10 months with A$AP Rocky.
“That was not on the pamphlet,” Rihanna told Refinery29 in an interview published June 12. “I did not expect it to happen in waves, either. I thought it would just happen and grow back.”
The “Lift Me Up” singer shared that patches of hair fell off in different places around her head. And although she had “enough” of it, she also came to accept this part of her postpartum journey.
“I learned to embrace that in itself,” she admitted. “That actually made me get a little more creative and clever with my hair stuff.”
Rihanna’s hair loss revelation comes after she announced her latest beauty venture: Fenty Hair, which launches June 13 with a variety of essentials for every type of strand.
“A new family is moving in!” Rihanna captioned her June 4 Instagram. “Fenty Hair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for.”
