Samsung UK collaborated with global creative network Iris and Skateboard GB to launch the First Flips campaign, an initiative to get more people on skateboards and trying a new activity before the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Part of Samsung’s broader Drop in with Samsung platform, First Flips boosts awareness of the Galaxy Z Flip5 foldable phone among Gen Z in the UK.
This campaign turned creators into skateboarders, with influencers Yung Filly, ArrDee, and Mia Regan unboxing a personalized skateboard, safety gear and a Flip5 to capture content of themselves trying the sport—including the best moments, funny moments and fails. As part of their skateboarding journeys, the creators got the support and guidance of seasoned coaches from Samsung’s Team Galaxy Skate talent.
