The NYC-based electronics retailer has lowered its asking price for the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 with an Intel Core i9-13900HX and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 to $2,499, which constitutes a massive price cut of $800 or 24% relative to Lenovo’s official MSRP. Additionally, this maxed-out gaming laptop is equipped with 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and the impressive 240Hz QHD IPS display, which received a lot of praise in our in-depth review of the Legion Pro 7.
The screen is certainly not the only strong suit of the Lenovo gaming laptop. We also found that the RTX 4090-equipped Legion Pro 7 has an excellent gaming performance, high-quality chassis and great speakers. We also liked the port selection including TB4, but that does not mean that the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 is an entirely flawless notebook.
For instance, prospective owners of the QHD gaming laptop may want to invest in a good headset (from $49 on Amazon) since the Legion Pro 7 can get very loud under full gaming load, especially in performance mode. We also observed some SSD throttling caused by high temperatures. Regardless, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 is a fantastic machine whose RTX 4090 performance will most likely satisfy even the most demanding gamers.
