Apple is supposedly still hoping to deliver at least three new devices before the end of this quarter. To recap, Mark Gurman reported in early December that the company was working towards updating various product lines. Now, the same analyst claims that all remain on track for a spring introduction, including new MacBook Air models.
In short, Gurman asserts that Apple M3 refreshes of the MacBook Air 13 and MacBook Air 15 are planned, adding that the former is ‘already deep in production overseas’. The same applies to the series iPad Pro, which Apple is set to expand with a new OLED model. Reportedly headed to 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes, these ‘stacked’ OLED panels are said to offer twice the peak brightness while providing a longer lifespan than their peers.
Moreover, the adoption of OLED panels across the iPad Pro series will coincide with the debut of a new design, as well as updated Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories. Arguably, Apple is expected to be less ambitious with the iPad Air, which will receive a second 12.9-inch size rather than a design and display overhaul. Gurman reports that all refreshes should begin shipping at the end of March. Currently, Apple is thought to be targeting a spring launch event, which begins on March 20 this year.
