The ManiLife almond butter range has been developed by the peanut butter brand as a series of sustainable, small-batch spreads perfect for consumers to incorporate into their favorite recipes. The products were created thanks to a collaboration with independently owned farms situated in Portugal to prioritize advanced farming methods and also reduce the distance they need to travel. The spreads come in smooth and crunchy formats that will arrive at retailers in the UK starting February 5, 2024 and via the brand’s website.
Founder Stu Macdonald spoke on the ManiLife almond butter range saying, “We spent years tasting countless varieties of almonds from all over the world so it was a genuine joy that the tastiest Almonds we could find also happened to be grown by a lovely family right on our doorstep in Portugal. We don’t like to market [products] using sustainability, but the carbon footprint saving you’ll have eating ManiLife vs a typical Californian-origin almond butter will be monumental.”
