Cybertrucks towed by RAM get ‘howdy’ at Love’s truck stop and pose for first Tesla family portrait

Tesla’s Cybertruck has gotten as rave a review as possible down south at a Love’s truck stop in Missouri where several units have been bandied about on a trailer this week. Some of those seemed coming from crash tests with the typical pillar and window markings, and with covered fronts.

One such trailer towed by what looks like a RAM truck rested at a Love’s travel stop a few days back when a local vehicle mechanic managed to get a good footage out of it with the jolly “howdy, howdy, y’all… from Southeast Missouri.” They comment on the difference in wheels and agree that the Cybertrucks on the trailer are “pretty cool looking” as well as “rad,” and muse whether may have to work on one in the not-so-distant electric future of pickup trucks.

It remains to be seen what the general uptake for a Tesla Cybertruck would be once those nearly 2 million preorder reservations are being filled in, or with what geographical distribution in the US. After all, Tesla still hasn’t announced the Cybertruck’s price or exact specs, but analysts expect that the automaker will sell it at about US$60,000 a pop on average.

That’s way above the price that Elon Musk mentioned when he first announced the Cybertruck, but then again the features and specs that Tesla has teased so far and the unique stainless steel design couldn’t really be priced as much as a Model 3 now. It stands towering above all of Tesla’s other models in what could be the first group photo taken of its current S3XY roster together with the Cybertruck out in the open over at Giga Texas.
