Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro features the Sony IMX890 as its primary camera, a 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 50 MP native output. Elsewhere, OnePlus has installed an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 1/1.4-inch optical format, as well as 2 MP and 16 MP front-facing cameras. It is worth noting that OnePlus has equipped the Ace 2 Pro with a plastic back and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect its large display, underlining cost savings in some areas. Similarly, the Ace 2 Pro lacks any official waterproofing, any wireless charging technology or an LTPO backplane for variable display refresh rates.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (~US$412) with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the handset can be equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for CNY 3,399 (~US$467) or 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for CNY 3,999 (~US$550). Currently, OnePlus is expected to eventually launch the Ace 2 Pro in India as the OnePlus 12R. However, it is unclear whether the company plan to offer the Ace 2 Pro globally in any form.
