Annapurna Interactive is launching the new Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition game and also unveils a trailer right before the official release. The Kentucky Route Zero game first launched in 2013 and was described as a magical realist adventure game. It highlights a highway that is found under a series of caves and the new game rounds out the series.
Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition will be launching officially on August 17th and is set to be playable on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. Originally speaking about Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition when it came out, Jake Elliot explains to Engadget that “Tragedy is not pessimistic. In a lot of literary tragedies or dramatic tragedies, at the end the character who has made all these terrible mistakes or who has these terrible flaws… they usually have this moment where they sort of take responsibility for it, or in some other way transcend it.”
