The new Uno Synth Pro X device by IK Multimedia is able to produce a premium sound design in what appears to be a portable and compact package. Similar to the original design, it is a three-oscillator paraphonic instrument with many new features. It starts off with a new layout and has a progressive sound engine.
Other new effects include the shimmering reverb, true analog overdrive, and a vibrato/chorus that is inspired by the famous Uni-Vibe pedal. Overall, there are more than ten ‘studio-quality’ effects that can be stacked to create different sound designs through three modulation slots. The device also has a 64-step para phonic sequencer that offers step and recording options in real-time.
