In addition to the 140 W RTX 4070 and the 14-core Core i7-12700H, the TUF Gaming F15 features 16 GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory, 1 TB of storage, and a 15.6-inch IPS display. The display boasts FHD resolution, NVIDIA G-SYNC, 144 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of brightness, and an advertised 100% of the sRGB gamut. Furthermore, the machine packs a good number of ports including one Thunderbolt 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.0, and an RJ45.
The GPU performance should also be quite impressive, as the RTX 4070 is, per our testing, faster than an RTX 3080 mobile. For instance, the RTX 4070 scored 11,411 points in 3DMark Time Spy Graphics which is less than 4% slower than the RTX 3080 Ti mobile.
In other words, the RTX 4070 has plenty of performance for high refresh rate FHD gaming. For instance, the board drove The Last of Us Remake at 85.5 FPS, Star Wars Jedi Survivors at 79 FPS, and Hogwarts Legacy at 123 FPS using the High graphical preset.
