If insulting terms for Donald Trump are your jam, Wednesday was a very good day indeed.
First, it was revealed that Wall Street investors are using the term “TACO ― Trump Always Chickens Out” to describe Trump’s economic policies and his erratic approach of announcing massive tariffs that cause the markets to plunge, only to back off a short time later, allowing them to rise back up again.
Savvy market watchers are taking advantage of “TACO” by buying beaten-down stocks, waiting for Trump to wimp out and take advantage of the inevitable rebound.
A guest on CNN added another insult to the anti-Trump arsenal during a panel discussion on Wednesday about the president’s reported decision toreject a $15 million settlement from CBSover how the network edited a “60 Minutes” interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign.
Panelist Kevin O’Leary of “Shark Tank” fame defended Trump and called the “60 Minutes” segment a “word salad edit,” while other panelists insisted Trump’s lawsuit had no merit.
Despite the crosstalk from the various panelists, podcaster Jennifer Welch managed to find a moment where she could ask O’Leary a very pointed question.
“How do you guys constantly defend the biggest whining titty baby out there?” she asked O’Leary and the other pro-Trump panelists. “He whines, cries nonstop. He’s the president of the United States. You’re defending that? It’s demeaning.”
For the record,Urban Dictionarydefines “titty baby” as “someone who gets super butt hurt super easy,” whileWiktionary describes a “whiny-ass titty baby” as “someone who is childish and prone to offense.”
As you can see in the video below, most of Welch’s fellow panelists cracked up at her use of the phrase, while O’Leary continued to defend Trump.
The term seems to have struck a chord with people on social media.
