The DeckHD offers substantial improvements for Steam Deck’s IPS panel. One of the most notable improvements is its color gamut coverage. The DeckHD boasts an impressive 87% sRGB color gamut, a substantial enhancement over the Steam Deck’s LCD, which covers approximately 70% of the sRGB spectrum. To make setup easy, Valve has updated its SteamOS software to recognize the DeckHD as a known display.
