KOLEX has recently announced the launch of its new print-on-demand and print-to-order services aimed at commemorating esports players and teams. This initiative is designed to enhance fan engagement and provide scalable revenue streams for esports organizations. The service allows teams to create limited edition cards that celebrate significant moments in their competitive history. These cards can be pre-ordered and fulfilled as physical cards after the pre-order window closes or distributed as digital-first cards with the option to be printed on demand. This approach helps teams manage inventory efficiently and reduce paper waste and excess duplicate cards.
The first set of print-on-demand cards will be showcased at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, at the SK Gaming booth. This partnership with SK Gaming marks the beginning of KOLEX’s new service rollout. Since its inception in 2018, KOLEX has been providing hybrid collectibles for esports and pop-culture fans, collaborating with notable partners such as ESL FACEIT Group, DC Comics, and Tencent. The company’s technology platform connects digital and physical cards, ensuring that teams and KOLEX share the revenue generated from these collectibles.
