Quaker Protein Strawberries & Cream has been launched in the UK by PepsiCo-owned Quaker Oats as a delicious, nutrition-minded product that incorporates dessert-like flavor notes. The product starts off with 100% whole grain oats mixed with soy protein to give the cereal nine-grams of protein in sachet, while the pot-packaged version has 12-grams of protein per 59-gram serving. The product features the distinct fruit-forward flavor of strawberries in every bite along with a creamy texture for a dessert-like experience.
General manager Divesh Parmar commented on the Quaker Protein Strawberries & Cream oats saying, “Demand for hot protein cereals shows no signs of slowing down, growing by over 20% in the last twelve months. While consumers are recognising the importance protein breakfast items play in supporting their overall wellbeing, we also know that younger shoppers are looking for different flavours and in particular more dessert flavours to enjoy.”
