Jax Jones was left horrified after an Ibiza night out with fellow artists Jason Derulo and Joel Corry resulted in a humongous 22,000 euro bar tab.
The English DJ and producer, 36, has been working with the musicians on their new collaboration track Tonight (D.I.Y.A).
And it seems they have been getting into the party spirit amid the song’s promo, after Jones took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the hefty bar bill they wracked up.
Jones shared a carousel of pictures from over the last week, with the first a selfie of him, Derulo and Corry having some drinks after launching their song. But the tenth and final snap in the post was a picture of their 22,380 euro [£19,000] tab, which included 51 bottles of Moet & Chandon and eight Dom Perignon Vintages.
However fans weren’t best pleased with the post, as they compared the astronomical bill to their wages for an entire year.

It seems the trio have been getting into the party spirit amid the song’s promo, after Jones took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the hefty bar bill they wracked up
Jones captioned the post: ‘The last week has been such a buzz. Swipe to the end to see the bar bill Jason and Joel left me with.
‘We launched a new song with Jason and Joel. Cheers! The bar bill from the first picture thanks Jason and Joel. Guess I’ll be doing the dishes then.’
Just days before the post, Derulo shared a video about the same mammoth bill, captioned: ‘How it feels on a night out in Ibiza.’
The clip showed Derulo raise his eyebrows when given the bill before passing it to Corry, who eventually handed it to Jones.
‘Bro we’re having the best time, so good to be here as friends,’ Jones could be heard saying before the bill reached him.
But as he saw the price, the clip went black and white as the trio’s song started playing with the lyrics ‘I just died in your arms tonight, didn’t even try to escape. I just died in your arms tonight, I knew I should have waked away.’
Replying to Derulo’s video, Jones commented: ‘How could you leave me with the bill guys??’
Some fans felt bad for Jax being left with the huge tab and found the clip funny, commenting: ‘Not it transitioning to the black and white colors to show the sadness. That honestly was the perfect transition for the song, love it!’;

‘That’s when u get up to use the bathroom,’; ‘Jason had that look like the hell,’; ‘Not even the soul was left to pay the bill.’
However other fans were less impressed, and accused the You Don’t Know Me hitmaker of ‘boasting’ amid the cost of living crisis.
They wrote: ‘I love your music but I don’t think it’s so good to be boasting about how much you spent on a night out when people in this country are genuinely struggling,’;
‘£19k, Jesus, that was my wages for the year last year and more than I will get this year, must have been a good day/night,’;
‘When they drink the money we earn half a year in 1 night (angry face),’; ‘That’s lotsa champy and Prosecco for the two of them, cheeky,’;
’51 bottles of Moet Chandon, 8 bottles of Dom Vintage, etc. That bill looks rather reasonable.’
That wasn’t the only slightly controversial part of the Ibiza for Derulo, after he was slammed for posting a fire on the island as a metaphor for returning to a ‘toxic ex’.
The Instagram video showed a cloud of smoke rising from a distant fire before Jason emerges from his palatial poolside accommodations with a drink in hand.

‘Fire,’ he wrote beside the cloud of smoke with a skull emoji.
‘Walking back to my ex like,’ he added as he began to happily walk outside.
One viewer replied with fury, saying: ‘What’s wrong with u? First before publishing you should think about the people who have suffered from the fire of a business in Ibiza,’;
‘Second, the video is not funny at all and I suppose you have the conscience to apologize and delete it. I don’t understand that a video has to be made about a misfortune like a fire to gain likes. I hope you reconsider.’
Another fan informed Jason the fire was at a warehouse near the Ibiza Airport and claimed people had lost their jobs due to the disaster.
‘Jason is not funny,’ they said. ‘The place that caught fire is called Citubo and is an important reference for the island. Many people have now lost money and jobs. A little respect.’
