On Wednesday, the US Department of the Treasury announced it was adding 300 companies and individuals to a sanctions list as part of efforts “to intensify the pressure on Russia for its continued cruel and unprovoked war against Ukraine”.
Russia uses a complex, transnational network to feed its war machine, according to the US, and the new list will help shut down those efforts.
