The Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess game is described by Capcom as a lush experience as it is designed to be set on the side of a mountain that is coated in a black defilement. The world that players go through is an ancient and psychedelic visual experience that is blended with magic and other horror-themed looks.
Additionally, it is also developed with mechanics so that it encourages a slow strategy approach and quick hack-and-slash combat play. The mechanics of the game section off to a day and night experience but all of the action starts at different camps along the mountainside. It rests under canopies and other foliage as the black coating traps villages in sacs and infects the local deer population. Players are meant to protect Maiden Yoshiro from the monsters and Seethe.
