Xiaomi launched the Band 8 Pro way back in August last year in its home market of China. Six months later, the company finally looks ready to bring the smartwatch-esque fitness tracker to the global market, likely later this month at MWC.
As revealed by the reliable Sudhanshu Ambhore, Xiaomi is set to price the Smart Band 8 Pro at €89 officially, with retailers potentially offering the fitness tracker at just €69. For what it’s worth, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro also launched globally at that same price point.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro features a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It, of course, appeals to a niche crowd of buyers who may seek the design of a traditional smartwatch, while maintaining the standard features of a fitness tracker and accompanying stellar battery life—pegged at up to 14 days of use on a single charge. Reportedly, the band will be available in just two color options: Black and Silver.
