A woman has tugged on the heartstrings of people around the world after sharing her late grandmother’s diary, which she found after she passed away.
Natalie, believed to be from Atlanta, Georgia, who goes by @riotgrrr1 on TikTok, shared images of some of the adorable entries about her.
The post has already been seen by more than 8.2 million people, some of whom were left in tears after reading.
She wrote on the screen: ‘After my grandma passed I found the diary she kept about me,’ holding up a cream journal with a small orange flower on the front.
The entries revealed that Natalie’s grandma had recorded updates and stories about her from the moment she was born.

One of its first entries read: ‘Natalie is one week old today and all is well’.
The second page she shared revealed a huge secret that her grandmother had not even told Natalie’s parents.
It read: ‘Today you and I have a secret. You took six steps all alone. We can’t tell Mommy or Daddy.
‘They have to be the first ones to see you walk. You are lucky, little one – everybody loves Natalie’.
An update written afterwards added: ‘Well now, little one, everyone knows. Your mom called all excited to tell me and Pop that you started to walk’.
Another emotional entry shared by Natalie read: ‘Often I wish my mother could get just one look at you. She would just love you to death as we all do’.
Further heartfelt pages read: ‘The really funny part is your coming has had the “grandmother effect” on me. I simply cannot imagine a life without you in it’.
There were also pages to mark occasions such as her birthday, where her grandmother lovingly scrawled: ‘You won’t remember this birthday because you are way too young, but you’re truly having a wonderful day and are truly an enchantment to all who love you’.

The last pages Natalie shared read: ‘Love&Hugs, Me (Nana)’ and ‘What will we do next?’
Viewers were left in floods of tears, writing that it makes them ‘want to sob’ and it’s the ‘sweetest thing ever’.
One commenter wrote: ‘Ouch never considered the possibility of being someone’s grandma one day and not being able to share it with my mom.’

Meanwhile, a third penned: ‘Her being the first one to see you take your first steps and she kept it a secret oh my lord,’ to which Natalie responded that she had ‘no idea’ and will keep their secret ‘for old times sake’.
