Miley Cyrus will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards, marking the first time she has sung at the ceremony in five years.
The 31-year-old pop act last took the stage at the Grammys in 2019, sending her fans into a frenzy of delight with her duet of In My Blood with Shawn Mendes.
Now, it has been confirmed that she will make her grand return to the awards show this Sunday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The news went public in a Variety report this Friday, just two days before the annual star-studded extravaganza will take place.
Onstage that night, Miley will reportedly deliver a rendition of Flowers, her smash hit lead single from last year’s album Endless Summer Vacation.

An insider gushed that Miley gave a ‘blow-you-away good’ rehearsal on Friday afternoon at the Crypto.com arena, less than 72 hours before the show.
In the lyric of Flowers, Miley assures an ex that she will be able to provide herself with the affection she needs after their breakup.
‘I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, talk to myself for hours, say things you don’t understand,’ she sings in the chorus.
Miley is nominated for six Grammy Awards this Sunday, half of them for Flowers alone – Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Endless Summer Vacation is up for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, and Miley’s duet Thousand Miles with Brandi Carlile is also in the running to snag the gong for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Released in March of last year, Endless Summer Vacation is Miley’s eighth studio album and the first since her 2020 offering Plastic Hearts.
Miley was not herself nominated for any Grammy Awards for her work on Plastic Hearts, and was not seen performing at that ceremony.
