The 54-year-old pop diva was on the program giving a televised debut to her latest single Can’t Get Enough from her next album This Is Me… Now.
Joined by Latto and Redman, the Selena star whirled around the stage, demonstrating her barnstorming talent as a dancer.
But amid her frenetic choreography, she evidently had a problem with one of her hair extensions – prompting her to pull the piece out right there onstage.
In spite of the eye-popping snafu, she refused to be stopped in her tracks, continuing with the number as if nothing had happened.

Ayo was scathing about Jennifer’s capabilities as a singer, dismissing the Jenny From The Block hitmaker’s career as ‘one long scam.’
The barbs resurfaced and went viral this week in the lead-up to Saturday Night Live, setting the stage for a potentially awkward encounter between Ayo and JLo.

JLo’s new record will arrive alongside a companion film whose contents remain a mystery, but that will in some way revolve around her marriage to Ben.
‘As artists, we have to follow our heart and this is me following my heart and doing something that maybe everybody didn’t think was the best idea, but I had to do it,’ said Jennifer, whose new album will also be about the marriage.
She declined to specify whether the movie will be a documentary or a scripted project, preferring to leave the reveal until the picture comes out.
‘You have to see it and you’ll have to experience it to understand it,’ the Jenny From The Block hitmaker deftly teased in an interview with Variety.
