Jamie Oliver reveals his wife Jools has a CRUSH on Elvis heartthrob Austin Butler as he shares their plans for Valentine’s Day: ‘She’s sick of looking at me!’

Jamie Oliver has revealed his wife Jools has a crush on Elvis heartthrob Austin Butler as he shared their plans for Valentine’s Day.

The celebrity chef, 48, appeared on the Heart Breakfast show on Wednesday, where the hosts quizzed him on what he had in store for the day of romance.  

But while divulging what he was going to gift his model wife of 23 years Jools, 49, Jamie revealed she had her eyes on another man. 

‘Basically, she’s in love with Austin Butler so I’ve got her a big picture of Austin Butler because I’ve got to make her happy. She’s sick of looking at me.

‘It’s from an amazing photographer called Greg Williams so that’s the first bit, it’s pretty life-sized so you can pretty much kiss it.’

Show co-host Jamie Theakston asked TV cook Jamie if Valentine’s Day is a big day in their household.

‘Yes, it’s a massive expectation that I deliver on multiple fronts,’ Jamie confessed.

Zoe Hardman, who stepped in for Amanda Holden on Wednesday’s show, then queried: ‘Is the pressure there from Jools, what are you pulling out of the bag this year, [laughs] keep it clean?’  

‘Huge pressure,’ Jamie insisted. ‘Even [after] 23 years [of marriage].’

Jamie went on to say that his plan is to ‘cook her something beautiful’ and get her some chocolates.

He also sweetly revealed he will pick his wife some flowers from the garden, before clarifying that that may not be possible.

‘Actually there’s nothing in the garden so basically it will be weeds and I’ll come up with something else that I haven’t thought of yet,’ he added.

Jamie and Jools married in 2000 and the couple share five children: Poppy, 21, Daisy, 20, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, seven.

In April 2023, three months before their 23rd wedding anniversary, the couple jetted to the Maldives with their brood and renewed their vows on the beach. 

Speaking about the ceremony on The Graham Norton Show in December, Jamie revealed his vow renewal ceremony meant more to him than his actual wedding day.

He said: ‘It was my wife’s idea and I thought I’d go along with it. 

‘Saying the vows a second time around actually meant something more – you’ve earned it rather than just saying it, and I loved it. It was actually a very nice thing to do, very romantic, and I ended up enjoying it more than anyone else.’

For the special occasion, Jamie looked dapper in a blue blazer and matching trousers, teamed with a crisp white shirt and a lapel flower.

Meanwhile Jools looked elegant in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, complete with a ruffled design and a thigh-high slit.

Jamie later shared snaps of the ceremony on Instagram, writing: ‘Morning all, Me & @joolsoliver got married again!
