Israel’s flagship carrier airline El Al has announced that it is dropping flights to Dublin in Ireland and to Marrakesh in Morocco due to what it said in a statement was “the ongoing security situation and a significant drop in demand”.
The routes will remain cancelled for at least the upcoming Northern Hemisphere summer, it said, while highlighting that it would continue to adjust its flight schedule as required.
Last week, El Al announced an expansion in the number of flights to US cities, adding two flights per week to Los Angeles and one to Boston, making for more than 50 direct flights to America per week.
