Xiaomi has been tipped to launch the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro next month in China, with the Pad 7 Pro seemingly set to be Xiaomi’s first Pro tablet to launch globally. A new leak has now revealed some more details of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, too, showing some notable upgrades over last year’s Pad 6 Pro.
As revealed by Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is set to debut with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in tow. It may not be Qualcomm’s latest and greatest SoC but still represents a solid improvement on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which powered last year’s Pad 6 Pro.
Like the Pad 6 Pro, the Pad 7 Pro is seemingly set to come equipped with a 144 Hz LCD. It could be considerably larger than the 11-inch Pad 6 Pro, however, with the source claiming a 12.45-inch display. Lastly, as reported a while back, the Pad 7 Pro is tipped to feature 120 W fast charging—a massive upgrade on the Pad 6 Pro’s 67 W charging.
