The Grange of Prince Edward 2017 Lafontaine du Loup Rosé – Traditional Method Sparkling wine is priced at CA$58.00 and is part of a special limited release. The bubbly was handcrafted by winemaker Jonas Newman in collaboration with the Grange’s proprietors. Paying homage to the Francophone town of Lafontaine in North Ontario, the wine boasts an expressive mid-weight profile with an apricot hue and is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
After being aged for 48 months, the Grange of Prince Edward 2017 Lafontaine du Loup Rosé features a dry palate with notes of dried orange peel, marmalade, apricot and toasted almond brioche. The wine’s minerality and finish are reflective of the unique terroir of Prince Edward County.
Beyond its taste, Lafontaine du Loup Rosé is inspired by the Wolf of Lafontaine, a legend symbolizing unity and respect among the region’s diverse cultures.
