TORRAS normally makes accessories such as the Magnetic Ostand Ring Case with an integrated ring grip/stand for devices now including the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for ~$36 right now on Amazon. However, it has also announced plans to serve Apple Vision Pro customers specifically with one of its next new lines…although the number of actual sales it might make doing so remain to be seen.
Nevertheless, the OEM is confident that those who spend that much on a first-gen headset are willing to invest yet more on things that “can protect the device against potential scratches and smudges, without compromising on style and weight“.
Accordingly, those concerns might motivate users to buy the TORRAS Vision Pro carrying case. The OEM has also thought of potential issue of the lenses misting up from the inside during the headset’s use with a branded “anti-fog spray”.
TORRAS’ headband might be “specially designed” to address the headset’s already famous potential for neck-pain during protracted wear – however, it will hardly have that market to itself with myriad rivals such as Syntech there ahead of it.
Then again, its power bank designed for potentially advanced compatibility with the Vision Pro with its neck speaker-like form-factor might have a better chance of standing out as a way to keep using the inaugural “spatial computer” for longer without needing to take it off and plug its (arguably awkward and pocket-mounted) first-party power supply in.
TORRAS may have announced its Vision Pro accessory range now, but has also revealed that it will not actually release it until April 2024. In the meantime, the Syntech Hard Carrying Case rated to fit the Vision Pro is already on Amazon for ~$26 at present.
