Sarah Ferguson has shared health updates after the announcement of her skin cancer diagnosis.
The ex-wife of Prince Andrew was diagnosed with the condition just months after undergoing an operation for breast cancer, according to AFP.
Ferguson, nicknamed Fergie, visited her dermatologist at the King Edward William VII’s Hospital in Marylebone on Wednesday, according to The Mirror.
As she was leaving the hospital after her appointment, fans and well-wishers were waiting outside and asked her how she was doing.
Smiling, the Duchess of York replied, “I’m fine, thank you,” the British publication reported.
Ferguson also posted a message on Instagram talking about her malignant melanoma diagnosis.
“I have been taking some time to myself as I have been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer,” she posted on Tuesday.
“My second cancer diagnosis within a year after I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer and underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.”

“It was thanks to the great vigilance of my dermatologist that the melanoma was detected when it was,” she continued.
She added:
Naturally, another cancer diagnosis has been a shock but I’m in good spirits and grateful for the many messages of love and support.
“I believe my experience underlines the importance of checking the size, shape, colour and texture and emergence of new moles that can be a sign of melanoma and urge anyone who is reading this to be diligent,” she added.
She also thanked the medical teams that supported her and the Mayrlife Clinic.
“I am resting with family at home now, feeling blessed to have their love and support,” she wrote.
