Three artists work together to create the SHED RAIN Artist Series of bright umbrellas — Studio Proba, Katie Merz, and Lisa Congdon present the collection for rainy days. The Portland-based company brings a vibrant theme to gloomy days as the umbrella shades are made to reflect the respective artists and their special styles. Kicking off Alex Proba’s designs, it is defined by organic shapes and bright tones inspired by her Field Study design.
Following with the umbrellas by Lisa Congdon, it is detailed with bright yellow along the handle and lining with visuals dubbed ‘Where the Magic Happens.’ Finally, Katie Merz’s Brooklyn Bank work highlights white lining with hand-drawn visuals that represent her signature graphic illustrations.
