The fashion sensibilities of the early 2000s are still on the rise today—hence, it is really no surprise that Bottega Veneta is gearing up to release a Y2K-style runner. Dubbed the Orbit sneaker, the shoe will be available in three colorways, including the brand’s recognizable parakeet green, a solid black variant, and a tonal white version with a gum rubber sole.
Recently, Bottega Veneta teased this release. Some of the noteworthy design elements of the Y2K-style runner include a technical mesh foundation which ensures a breathable composition, layered synthetic or painted leather panels, metallic accents at the heels that immediately capture attention, and an intricately woven netting that appears to draw inspiration from the brand’s iconic Intrecciato design.
The Bottega Veneta Orbit sneakers are expected to retail around $1,000 USD.
