Zendaya has broken her silence one day after the sudden and tragic passing of her Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud.
The actress shared a poignant message about her late co-star, along with a black and white image of him.
Angus died at the age of 25 on Monday, July 31 at his family home in Oakland, California – after he struggled with the loss of his father, his family told TMZ.
His mother, who called 911, reported it as a ‘possible overdose,’ according to TMZ.
‘Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it),’ she wrote in her Instagram caption shared Tuesday afternoon.
‘I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love… “they could light up any room they entered” but boy let me tell you. He was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment,’ she added.

Angus, born Conor Angus Cloud (named after his father Conor Cloud), played the character Fezco on Euphoria from 2019 until 2022.
Zendaya plays Ruby ‘Rue’ Bennett on the show.
Angus’ family announced his death via TMZ, revealing he died in his family’s home in Oakland on Monday.
He had been battling ‘severe suicidal thoughts’ after his burying his father in Ireland the week prior.
The actor was staying with his family as he tried to overcome his grief, the outlet said.
His mom called 911 at around 11:30 am Monday morning reporting a ‘possible overdose,’ with Oakland PD and the Fire Department responding.
‘It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a on, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways,’ his family told the outlet.
Conor Hickey passed away on May 18 at age 65 following a ‘brief fight with cancer’, a social media post reshared by his mother Lisa detailed.
Sharing photos of his memorial service in another post, Lisa wrote: ‘He would have been so honored that so many young people came to express how much they appreciated their support from him.

Conor passed away in his native Ireland. An obituary written by members of a rugby club with which he was associated said he died ‘after a short illness’.
Lisa and Conor were both university professors. They were originally from Ireland, but they relocated to California in the 80s.
The couple shared three children, their eldest Angus, followed by twin daughters Molly and Fiona Hickey.
