Xiaomi has been exceptionally generous with the Mix Fold 3 teasers in the run-up to its imminent debut – albeit mostly in terms of how it has improved compared to its Fold 2 predecessor. Now, a new Geekbench leak purports to add more concrete data on its internals and their potential for the performance the OEM promises with its new foldable flagship.
This report is based on the discovery of a “Xiaomi 2308CPXD0C” on the benchmark’s database, a model number thought to conform to the Mix Fold 3 due to its clearly overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
The up-to-3.36GHz Leading Version of the processor is joined by 12 to 16GB of RAM in these new listings, which seems to help propel the “Mix Fold 3” to heights of ~2000 and ~5000 in terms of single- and multi-core scores respectively.
Nevertheless, it seems the Mix Fold 3 has little chance of launching as the first mobile device with official MIUI 15: according to Geekbench, it is more likely to ship with Android 13 instead. Then again, this will probably not stop Xiaomi from showcasing MIUI 14’s optimizations for foldables at length during the impending press conference.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
