The Domhainne Tunnels, or “Dopamine Tunnels,” are a new dungeon in Diablo 4 found within Sanctuary as a massive XP farm that levels up your character(s) fast. Rumored to take a level 1 class to level 40 in just a couple of hours, this place has been discovered fairly recently by players as of this time of writing. A short distance from a Waypoint, this location is also very easy to reach.
The reason why the Domhainne Tunnels are so rich in XP is due to the number of Elite enemies inside the dungeon. The narrow hallways and large enemy hordes make this place perfect for classes with Area of Effect (AoE) Skills that deal lots of damage. Similar to the Malignant Tunnels introduced in Season 1 of Diablo 4, the presence of more high-level opponents makes the dungeon rich in consistent experience to earn.
Domhainne Tunnels Dungeon XP Farm Location In Diablo 4
The Domhainne Tunnels dungeon can be found in the Scosglen region, immediately to the west of the Corbach Waypoint. Almost right next to the fast travel spot, you can unlock the Corbach Waypoint by traveling north from Cerrigar, the main town in Scosglen. If you have unlocked a Mount in Diablo 4, it will take almost no time to reach the Tunnels and begin farming plenty of XP. Completing the Domhainne Tunnels dungeon rewards you with the Aspect of Efficiency, a Sorcerer power that reduces the Mana cost of Core or Mastery skills after using a Basic ability.
This dungeon will be familiar to those who’ve explored Sanctuary enough to see the patterns in many dangerous locations. Here, your character will have to free six prisoners in the Tunnels before traveling to its second layer, the Dark Descent. Returning a stone carving to a pedestal in this area summons a boss, the Khazra Abomination, an enemy that shows up in several other dungeons in Diablo 4.
The amount of XP you can gain in the Domhainne Tunnels increases drastically if your character plays on a higher World Tier difficulty.
To make the most out of the XP farm, do not complete the objective past the prisoners or enter the Dark Descent. Simply return to your character select screen by exiting out of Sanctuary, then return to the game and travel back into the Tunnels. The enemies should have respawned, allowing you to defeat many Elites and enemy groups again before repeating the process.
Those who find the Domhainne Tunnels dungeon in Diablo 4 not only can use the location as one of the best XP farms in the game but may also find a few Legendary gear drops.
