Teclast has released the M50 Pro, a cheaper alternative to the T40 Air that relies on the same Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset. As it turns out, the M50 Pro also weighs less than the T40 Air, despite the latter’s focus on being lightweight. Specifically, the M50 Pro weighs 435 g and is 7.8 mm thick, compared to 460 g and 7.5 mm for the T40 Air.
According to Teclast, the M50 Pro comes with a 10.1-inch display that outputs at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. Additionally, the display has a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 120 Hz touch sampling rate and offers 350 nits of peak brightness. Teclast adds that the display has an 83% screen-to-body ratio, in part because of a 5 MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, a 13 MP camera sits on the tablet’s rear side, as well as an auxiliary sensor.
Moreover, the M50 Pro features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage, upon which Teclast pre-loads Android 13. Elsewhere, the tablet has an LTE modem with an accompanying Nano SIM card slot and a secondary modem for Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11 ac Wi-Fi. Teclast sells the M50 Pro for €185.95 in the Eurozone in a single blue colourway, although it has priced the tablet at €199.99 on Amazon.
