Tammin Sursok clashes with restaurant staff after finding a ‘black hair’ in her food – so would YOU send it back?
Tammin Sursok clashed with a restaurant after finding a hair in her salmon and broccolini dish.
The Home And Away star, 39, took to Instagram on Saturday to express her frustration, sharing a picture of the distinct black hair sitting on her plate.
‘Question. [I’m] at dinner at a restaurant I’ll NEVER go back to, but after an hour and a half of waiting for food it comes out with a massive black hair,’ she wrote.
She then asked her followers whether she should ‘send it back’ or ‘eat it’ given that it took so long to arrive at her table.
Tammin later shared an update, this time saying she’d sent the dish back only for the restaurant staff to claim that it wasn’t ‘hair from them’.

Furious, Tammin pointed out that she has blonde hair so she couldn’t have been the culprit.
Tammin explained that the restaurant finally took it back and remade the dish.
‘Ok, finally after insinuating that I put my hair in the food (which is blonde) they took it back and remade it. After 30 min, a new one returned and at that point I lost my appetite,’ she said.

Tammin also explained why she’d decided not to expose the name of restaurant in the name of ‘health and safety’.
’35k people have viewed the hair in the food pic in an hour and I don’t want to ruin the livelihood of other people who work there,’ she said.
Hair mostly comprises Keratin, a protein that poses no gastrointestinal issues (or any health issues) when eaten.

It comes after Tammin appeared on the cover of Stellar magazine with her speaking about turning 40 in a matter of weeks.
The mother-of-two said: ‘I’m not nervous about turning 40, I’m nervous of what that represents’.
‘I think the fear of turning 40 is just I don’t want to work less. I remember having my first kid and they said I was no longer an ingenue – I was 29 years old’.

The South African-born Australian star played Dani Sunderland on the iconic soap from 2000 to 2004 (pictured on the show). She later found success in the US
