Rally’s and Checkers restaurants roll out its first Spanish ordering system that relies on AI technology. The service means to create a more inclusive space for customers and the chatbot helps aid the experience. It is able to take orders through the virtual assistant, which detects the language being spoken to switch between English and Spanish.
Notably, it is able to perform features such as prompting upselling on certain items including dessert options or french fries. Roy Baharav, CEO of Hi Auto explains that “Our expanded partnership with Checkers and Rally’s represents a huge breakthrough for the country’s Spanish-speaking and bilingual communities, and allows every restaurant to cater to the Spanish speaking population at any time.”
