Samsung continues with the strange proliferation of One UI 6 Beta builds. A few days ago, we reported that Samsung Germany had published a press release about the launch of the first One UI 6 Beta, which it then deleted. At the time, we suspected that Samsung Germany had misinterpreted an internal embargo, with a full release likely following in a few days’ time.
This seemed to be the case too, with various outlets reporting earlier today that Samsung had now opened its Android 14-based public beta program. Accordingly, Samsung shared an accompanying press release through its US Newsroom. However, the company has now taken this down without explanation. Again, Google Cache has preserved the press release for now, which we have reproduced below.
While Samsung gave members of the press an embargo and briefly posted an announcement earlier this morning, the company has pulled the post again and there’s no sign of the beta being live.
We’ve reached out to Samsung for more information.
