Roman Kemp has revealed the life-changing lesson he learnt from his godfather, the late George Michael.
The radio host, 30, who is the son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, told how being in a famous family hasn’t always been smooth-sailing.
Reflecting on his godfather George – who died in December 2016 – being in the limelight, Roman told how it isn’t always what it is cracked up to be.
He told The Sun: ‘Having parents who have been through the industry and a godfather who’s been through the industry in the way that George Michael did, you realise the thing everyone’s chasing isn’t actually that great.
‘Yes, money is fantastic but other than that, it’s just a bit boring.’

Roman told how his biggest worry is spending his entire career trying to get other people to ‘like’ him and told how his real goal is having a family.
‘I don’t perceive life as walking down red carpets, it’s about having a family and raising kids that are nice people in the world,’ he explained.
Roman also told how he one day wants to take a step back from the limelight to travel the globe, something he hasn’t got the chance to do yet.
Speaking of his hopes to travel, he said: ‘That’s something I’ve never done. I’ve been working since I was 16 and I never got to do that.’
Singer George famously introduced Roman’s parents Shirlie Holliman and Martin and he was later named as Roman’s godfather.
Shirlie was a back up dancer for Wham! while Martin rose to fame in the 80s with his band Spandau Ballet as well as his acting career on EastEnders.
Former I’m A Celebrity star Roman is very close to his parents and is a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox with his famous father Martin.

As well as Roman, couple of 35 years Shirlie and Martin are also parents to a daughter Harley Moon, 33.
And the famous parents take great joy in embarrassing their children after they revealed in January that they appeared on The Masked Singer to prank their son.
Roman will soon be co-host on a new BBC quiz show alongside Sarah Greene.
Despite often hosting quizzes on the radio, the DJ expressed nerves for the new adventure.
‘Even though I do quizzes every day on the radio, it is intimidating and certainly a skill to do this show — it’s just one I had to learn’
