The latest BlackWidow-series mechanical keyboard may seem basic with its 75% (compact tenkeyless) form-factor; nevertheless, Razer asserts that it is packed with “top-tier” features that just start at double-shot ABS stock caps, N-key rollover and anti‑ghosting.
The OEM also pitches the BlackWidow 4 75 at “enthusiasts“, as it is the latest vehicle for its interchangeable 3- or 5-pin custom Razer Switches, each color of which is rated to come with a different typing experience. The keyboard does ship with a full deck of Orange switches (“quiet, tactile“) by default, though.
Razer also includes screw-in stabilizer support, found under the gasket-mounted FR4 plate and “5052 Aluminum Alloy Top Case” of the 4 75.
It also integrates “fully programmable” Razer Chroma underglow lighting to either side, as well as a roller and dedicated keys for media in place of knobs or dials, and comes with a “magnetic leatherette” wrist-rest for comfort while gaming.
The BlackWidow 4 75 is now priced at US$189.99 (prior to customization) on razer.com or Amazon.
