Activision, a game publisher and a segment of the larger Activision Blizzard entity, is poised to unveil an exciting new tournament for its flagship battle royale first-person shooter, Call of Duty Warzone.
The tournament, named “Who is the King,” is set to span across five days, with the premiere event scheduled for August 16th. The tournament boasts a noteworthy prize pool of $150,000 (£118,000), giving multiple teams a chance to score throughout the event.
Distinguished Warzone and Call of Duty professionals will engage in intense gameplay against an array of content creators and streamers, generating an exhilarating blend of talent and entertainment. The tournament hopes to address the “age-old debate” of whether Call of Duty professionals or Warzone professionals are better at the game.
