People are revealing the reasons they wouldn’t date a celebrity online – from fearing infidelity to struggling to press attention.
Taking to the US site Reddit, one social media user wrote: ‘I can’t imagine dating somebody who has easy access to anybody they could ever want, especially having people falling over them every second and every hour.
‘I also can’t imagine if they were to cheat her public everything would be and her after a break up you would see them everywhere.
‘I hear these nightmare stories and I can’t help but think I hope I never fall in love with somebody who ends up being a celebrity.
‘I just know I do not have the mental stability for all that.’

The Internet was divided on the post.
One person wrote that she would date a celebrity saying: ‘Yes I need money’.
And another commented: ‘If they were a low-key celebrity who wasn’t into fame, doesn’t seek it out and simply sees their job is a job then sure.’
But some said they wouldn’t ever consider it.
One jokily wrote: ‘I can’t even date a regular guy.’
Another added: ‘I’m a really private person so never my anxiety wouldn’t be able to handle the main things their fans or tabloids said.’
A third wrote: ‘Realistically probably not, the fame judgement and hatred directed towards the girlfriend of a famous man… I don’t think my mental health could deal with that sort of thing.’
Another wrote: ‘I feel like the late Chadwick Boseman would’ve been an amazing boyfriend he’s really the only big down to earth celebrity I can think of who was private enough to protect his personal life.’

‘The acting world is a rat race actors must be willing to do anything to get one step ahead of the others.’
Finally one wrote: ‘I live in an area with lots of celebrity couples. All of the husbands are cheating. Will leave it at that.’
One added: ‘I’m super confident. Super confident that I wouldn’t be able to handle it lol.’
