Trader Joe’s is beefing up its dried fruit snack selection with the introduction of new Organic Dried Ataulfo Mango Slices.
For those unfamiliar, Ataulfo mangoes, sometimes called ‘honey mangoes’ or ‘champagne mangoes,’ are one of the most coveted mango varieties. These mangos boast an oblong shape, golden skin, and much-less-fibrous flesh. This makes the mangos particularly buttery and sweet, which is perfect for snacking.
Of course, juicy mangos are still a bit messy to eat, so Trader Joe’s has given fans a way to enjoy the taste of these sweet mangos without any of the mess. The grocery store brand works with a supplier in Mexico to pit and thinly slice ripe Ataulfo mangos. The organic mangos are then dried and packaged (no sweeteners added) so you can enjoy them anytime.
