Most of the OPPO foldable rumors have focused on the Find N3 backed to rival the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 on its launch later in 2023. However, other leaks point to an N3 Flip alternative that could give the corresponding Z Flip5 – not to mention the Motorola Razr+ – an equally nasty headache.
Now, according to the well-known and typically reliable leaker WHYLAB, it has started to join the Find N3 on official product-safety databases, having now become a Chinese Quality Certified (CQC) device under the model number PHT110 (whereas the N3 is known as the PHN110).
The new CQC registration approves it to use SuperVOOC 67W power bricks like the VCB7CACH and VCB7CBCH: a substantial hike in wired charging technology compared to the N2 Flip, which held its own with 44W charging, compared to the 25W limit imposed by Samsung on the Galaxy Z Flip4 – not to mention the Flip5.
Therefore, the N3 Flip might have an even easier time leaving its potential rival in the dust in 2023. On the other hand, the Find N3 might still have the edge with even faster charging, not to mention the alleged OnePlus re-brand for improved global availability later this year.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
