Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is a mobile game that is continuing the FFVII narrative and universe that has been in the works for years now. The game is set to launch on iOS and Android platforms starting on September 7th. It was first announced as a part of the battle royale action title for the franchise back in 2021 and had plans to roll out in 2022.
Due to delays, it is landing now and the beta testing started around July earlier this year. The game nods to the events from the original, retelling elements from that so that players are able to experience a unique sense of nostalgia and iconic moments from the backstory.
