Architecture and design studio Fettle is tapped to refurbish the San Carlo Liverpool restaurant that is inspired by Milanese accents. It takes an opulent experience into consideration, creating its own take on traditional Italian dining themes. The tonal palette of the new update is inspired by the northern Italian coastline with bright pops of blues, pinks, and greens.
It is detailed with contrasting materials such as brass, marble, and timber, met with softer touches of mohair and leather as the patterned upholstery. The studio explains that “The restaurant offers a spectacularly opulent and contemporary take on traditional Italian dining with elegant interiors inspired by Grand Milanese villas and gardens. We’re excited to unveil the transformation of San Carlo Liverpool. The new design is representative of the evolution of San Carlo, a journey we began in 1992.”
