McDonald’s has released its updated summer menu, with six additions arriving to stores across the UK.
The fast-food giant revamped its menu for summer starting from today where fans can expect the return of family favourites.
Cheesy Garlic Bites, Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry will all be returning to tempt tastebuds.
However, the new update also sees a fresh twist on the classic Quarter Pounder and the new McCrispy Deluxe.
The twist on the chain’s first ever permanent chicken burger is made with a 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a tantalising combination of hot and spicy mayo, with the addition of cheese and bacon for extra flavour.

The McCrispy Deluxe will set you back £6.09 as an individual order, £7.79 for an Extra Value Meal.
The BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese is a reimagined take on the classic burger and it features a 100% beef patty topped with the brand’s smokey BBQ sauce.
The burger is available to buy on its own for just £4.29, or as part of an Extra Value Meal for just £5.99.
You can also double the goodness with the BBQ Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, which costs £5.49 individually and £7.19 for an Extra Value Meal.
Meanwhile, fast food lovers can get their hands on a box of five cheesy bites for just £2.29, or a sharebox for just £6.49.
The Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry, which is £1.99 for a full-size, and £1.49 for a mini-size, is soft dairy ice cream swirled with Galaxy pieces and topped with a salted caramel sauce.
It comes after the chain announced a huge shake-up to its reward scheme, which is expected to delight fans.

Customers can exchange tasty favourites such as the Mighty McMuffin, McSpicy and Double Quarter Pounder for points, with a roll-out expected across the UK from today.
The new points milestone is available through MyMcDonald’s Rewards exclusively on the McDonald’s app.
This means customers can pick up the Mighty McMuffin, McSpicy, Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the McCrispy® free of charge when they’ve racked up enough points.
These items are all available to enjoy when customers reach 5,500 Rewards points.
Existing Rewards levels have been more generous.
Along with all their usual favourites, customers can now also redeem a regular Cold Soft Drink, an Apple Pie or a Filet-O-Fish when collecting Rewards points via the McDonald’s App.
Customers who are opted in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards and order and pay through the McDonald’s App will automatically earn points on their order – this includes McDelivery when ordered via the app.
Alternatively, customers can get a one-time code, which is available in the ‘code’ section of the app at the start of their order at Drive-Thru, Kiosk or Counter to earn points on their order.

There are some amazing Rewards available for customers to treat themselves to when points milestones are hit.
When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small fries, a hash brown, a regular cold soft drink or a side salad.
With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger, Vegetable Deluxe or Apple Pie is on the cards and when 4,000 points is hit customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or a Filet-O-Fish.
With brand-new 5,500 points milestone, customers can choose from a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a McCrispy.
There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, alongside reducing food poverty and waste in the UK.
Customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading the McDonald’s App via Google Play or the Apple App Store here, signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
