McDonald’s launches new rewards system with discounted trips to theme parks, zoos and the cinema – and a fortnight of slashed prices on your favourite meals
McDonalds has launched a new discount portal to help parents entertain their families this summer, with trips to theme parks, zoos and the cinema on offer.
Those signed up to My McDonald’s Rewards will get access to McDonald’s Days Out, which will give back to customers with discounted day trips.
Meanwhile, people ordering through the McDonald’s App will be treated to two weeks of discounts on their favourite meals from 14 August.
Each day will see a different item with a slashed price, with a McChicken Sandwich and a six-piece Chicken McNuggets both reduced to £1.49 on certain days.
There’s an even greater deal on offer for National Burger Day on August 24 – with the much-loved Triple Cheeseburger on offer for half its usual price.

McDonald’s said: ‘Customers will earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into My McDonald’s Rewards.
‘Every penny spent equals one Rewards point, redeemable against free food and charity donations all year round.’
But this isn’t all the popular fast food chain has on offer this summer.
‘For the very first time, families can now embark on a personalised adventure like no other, with the McDonald’s Audio Journeys. Available now via the McDonald’s App, Audio Journeys brings AI-powered audiobooks to your car, making family road trips even more entertaining.

It comes after McDonald’s announced a ‘massive’ change to its famous sweet ‘n sour sauce.
The restaurant chain is introducing a limited-edition version of the popular sauce in the UK from Monday 14 August.
The brand new look is launching to celebrate the appearance McDonald’s in Marvel Studios’ upcoming season of ‘Loki’ on Disney Plus.
