Rumours have surfaced that Matildas star Mary Fowler, 20, is secretly dating NRL player Nathan Cleary, 25, after the pair were spotted enjoying what looked to be a romantic outing.
The pair were recently seen ‘enjoying an ice cream and a walk’ according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
‘The pair are connected as Adidas athletes and caught up after a promotional event,’ according to the outlet.
The pair currently follow each other on Instagram, but have not shared any photos of themselves together.

Discussing the news on the Hello Sport Podcast, hosts Tom and Eddy said, ‘you have an ice cream with someone, that’s saying something.’
‘It’s the human version of that dog movie where they share the pasta… Lady and the Tramp.’
It comes a year after Nathan’s shock split from ex-girlfriend Tèah Foot following a whirlwind off-and-on relationship.

Insiders confirmed the split to the Daily Telegraph in August last year after fans noticed they were no longer following each other on Instagram.
‘Let’s just say they are taking a break. They were off-again-and-on again for a while so who knows what will happen,’ a source told the publication.
They continued: ‘Tèah likes him a lot but it hasn’t gone anywhere serious and they are not together at the moment.’

After Tèah unfollowed Nathan online, the NRL star posted a reel of photos to Instagram with the caption: ‘Life goes on’.
The couple’s split came just weeks after the pair were seen enjoying an intimate dinner at Spice Thai restaurant in Coogee, Sydney.
They had reportedly been seeing each other ‘on and off’ for a few months.
Tèah works for a Pilates studio in Bondi and lives in an apartment nearby where she often poses for racy pictures which appear on her Instagram account.
She is also the sister of former Sydney Swans player Zac Foot.

Meanwhile, the Panthers halfback was given his marching orders by referee Todd Smith in July 2022 for a shocking tackle that saw Parramatta Eels’ Dylan Brown tipped on his head inside the opening 20 minutes.

The Eels star escaped the sickening collision without anything more than a scare, before gingerly getting back to his feet.
Nathan looked visibly worried as Todd summoned him for a brief chat and the referee wasted no time sending him off.
He later apologised to Panthers fans on Instagram, stating he was ‘filthy for such a dumb mistake that let the boys down. I’m not about that, it was terrible technique and I need to be better.’
