Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola broke the Internet after MTV posted on social media that she was back on Thursday’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
The 36-year-old reality star surprised her roommates when she arrived at their weekend getaway in The Poconos after an 11-year hiatus and was welcomed back with open arms.
‘Yo, my Twitter is lit right now, man,’ said Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, 41, as the group settled down after dinner.
Mike in a confessional noted that MTV tweeted about Sammi returning.
‘And Gym Tan Sam’s back,’ said Mike as he read MTV’s post out loud.

‘I retweeted that s***, too,’ said Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’ DelVecchio, 43.
The roommates were shown on their phones as the screen was filled with social media posts on March 11 about Sammi returning.
‘Lit,’ Mike said.
‘Oh, damn. People are like, ”Wait, what?”,’ Pauly said. ‘This is gonna go viral.’
A counter showed more than 11 million likes for the post about Sammi returning.
‘Wait, Sam, do you know Sam’s back?,’ Pauly joked with Sammi.
‘MVP Sam photo. Let’s go,’ Mike said.
Sammi then teamed up for a photo with Mike, Pauly and Vinny Guadagnino, 35.

Vinny and Sammi earlier easily resumed their friendship during dinner after she revealed her new boyfriend used to bounce and bartend at the Karma club.
‘Well, Sam, you do have a type,’ quipped Vinny in reference to her ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 37. ‘Insert guy here. You have a type.’
‘Was that a shot? Shots fired?,’ Mike said.
‘To me, you come off, like, a little bit annoying,’ Sammi told Vinny.
The table erupted in laughter as Sammi put Vinny in his place.
‘See, I don’t even know if Sammi really understands. There’s a word for what Vinny is, and that’s “Chooch”,’ Pauly said in a confessional. ‘I need to teach her that.’
Sammi teased Vinny for turning red in embarrassment.
‘It’s all starting to come back to me. Like, I make fun of her. She makes fun of me back,’ Vinny said in a confessional.

The season six episode titled Just Like Old Times also featured Angelina Pivarnick, 37, making up with Deena Cortese, 36, after standing up to her during the heated reunion in a threatening manner.
Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, 35, also told Angelina that she overreacted when she charged at Deena during the reunion.
Angelina explained to Deena hat she was hurt over their reaction to her sudden engagement in New Orleans and Deena said she was legitimately scared that Angelina was going to attack her during the reunion.
They apologized and agreed to move forward, but Angelina did not find any resolution with Jennifer ‘JWoww’ Farley, 37, as they continued to avoid each other.
‘I don’t want a sit-down and I don’t want an apology. I’m trying to just move forward without drama,’ Jenni said in a confessional.
Pauly also worked on an elaborate UFO prank involving drones to maintain his reputation as prank war champion.
He was happy with a UFO conversation that broke out in which Mike said he believed that aliens come from the oceans and/or the inner Earth.
‘I think they’re also from the oceans, but also from above,’ Sammi said.
A flashback showed Deena in 2011 also talking to JWoww about aliens.
‘We’re in the middle of the woods, so I’m going to get a whole drone package to light up the sky that will look like UFOs. So the plan is in motion,’ Pauly said in a confessional.

The original Jersey Shore became a cultural phenomenon when it first aired on MTV and thrust all of its stars into fame.
